The Nature of the Rulers (The Nature of the Rulers is a gnostic writing recently discovered at Nag Hammadi in Egypt. It explains very well the gnostic message trying to “wake up” people to understand their real condition as spiritual souls lost in a material world)
The Acts of Thomas (the topic of my doctoral dissertation) describes two ways of overcoming gnostic alienation from the world described in the Nature of the Rulers.
